Denise Beecham – Advanced Reflexology
I’ve been involved in reflexology for over 20 years working as a practitioner and am fortunate to be a reflexologist Doula – this is a birth companion who assists a person before, during, or after childbirth offering assistance and emotional support. It has been proven that the provision of continuous support during labour is associated with improved maternal and fetal health and a variety of other benefits, including lower risk of induction and interventions and less need for pain relief. I have had the privilege of assisting several births and ladies in pregnancy and post-partum.
Through my teaching of Reflexology, Advance Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Crystal Healing and Ear Candling at Phoenix, since 2007, I have developed the courses to ensure I create a warm, empathic, understanding environment, which is an enjoyable way for my students to learn and develop their skills.
In 2016 I was awarded ‘Inspirational Tutor of the year’, by the AOR, nominated by my students, past and present. In 2017 I received a certificate of achievement from the ‘Festival of Learning’ again nominated by my students. This has been an honour for me and I always endeavour to bring out the very best in people and help them realise their full potential, whilst progressing on my own continual professional development journey, and always striving to do my very best.
