Accredited Ear candling £150
What will I learn?
Ear Candling is a very relaxing head treatment and a gentle holistic way of treating ear conditions using energy cleansing technique that have been around for many thousands of years and has been found in nearly every culture since the beginning of civilization.
The ear contains nerve endings and many acupressure points all of which are connected to the mind and emotions of the human body. These points are connected to the subtle energy field which flows in streams throughout the body, when purified the subtle energy allows the life’s forces to open up to our most sensitive side.
It is best defined as the use of an ear candle which is a beeswax or paraffin wax coated cloth that is shaped into a conical cylinder about 10” to 15” in length with varying widths.
Ear candling acts as a catalyst to clear out the debris and stagnation, which has accumulated. Once the blockages have been removed a clear flow of vibration to the corresponding areas of the mind, body and spirit, helps to clear a way for other healing work to take place.
This treatment takes 45 mins to perform and includes a pressure point massage to the face head and neck.

How and where will I be taught?
We offer extremely small classes of 8 learners or on a one to one basis so you can be assured of individual attention and support. Most of the work will be practical however there is a small amount of theory related learning which is assessed throughout the day with a short test. This program is delivered at The Bay Tree Training Centre on specified dates or from the Phoenix Therapy Room on a flexi-date basis.
We use a variety of teaching methods which will vary according to the groups we have. Much learning is through practical application, discussion, exploration with treatments performed on each other until safe correct techniques have been mastered. You will then progress to working on clients and will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of your treatments and complete task work quickly during the course.
