Individual lash extensions £350

Building on your lash tinting qualification, this is possibly the best investment you’ll ever make. Sparse, stubby lashes are transformed as synthetic eyelashes are attached to the client’s own natural lashes using permanent glue, which means that the extensions last the lifetime of the client’s natural lash. Lashes extend existing eyelashes in both length and thickness to give a fantastic new look. They will enhance the appearance beyond expectations because the eyes will look bigger, wider and brighter.
This is a 2-day course and both days must be completed.

A £100 booking fee is required, you will be contacted to arrange payment of the balance.

Who is this course suitable for?

To take this course, you need to have completed the Level 2 eye treatment course.

Applying lash extensions requires a steady hand, good hand-eye coordination and good vision. Before applying eyelash extensions to any clients, you should have your eyesight checked. In addition to this, you may wish to purchase a magnification lamp or reading glasses.

Focusing on tiny eyelashes for more than an hour at a time can be very tiring. As your eyes get tired, your vision may become blurred and you may have difficulty with focusing. It is important that you remain keenly aware of this, to avoid unnecessary eye strain. If you sense your eyes are tired and losing focus, take a break and do some quick eye exercises (refocus your eyes to various directions and distances across the room). If you sense your eyes are dry, use an appropriate eye drop to freshen your eyes as necessary. Do not proceed with applying eyelash extensions if you are unable to focus clearly.

What qualification will I achieve?

ABT accreditation or you can gain a City & Guilds regulated qualification by taking additional assessments.

How will I be taught?

We offer extremely small classes, usually on a 1-1 basis but with a maximum of 4 learners so you can be assured of individual attention and support. Most of the work will be practical however there is a small amount of theory related learning which is completed through research, discussion, case studies and activities. You will work on each other and real clients during this training.

How much work will I have to do from home?

There is very little theory you need to do. Some research and a great deal of practice is required to master this technique. Please do not assume that you will be a pro overnight, this technique takes time and patience to master but be assured we will get you there!

How will I be assessed?

The practical will be assessed carrying out a treatment on a client on Session 2 once you have fulfilled the pre-assessment requirements. You need to have completed a minimum of 3 sets of lashes and maintenance treatments and feel comfortable with the techniques. During the practical session, your theoretical knowledge will also be assessed.
